Strategic Announcement: CNEB Gains Full Autonomy
A New Chapter for Baptist Student Ministry in Benin
During the 7th National Conference held in Sékou from June 30 to July 5, 2025, a historic milestone was reached: the Collectif National des Élèves et Étudiants Baptistes (CNEB) officially entered a new season of full autonomy and national leadership.
For years, CNEB and M2E-Baptiste operated with overlapping leadership and shared coordination. This often led to confusion in roles and responsibilities. But in 2025, a clear and strategic reorganization was enacted:
What Has Changed?
- CNEB now functions as an independent national movement, fully responsible for mobilizing, training, and spiritually guiding Baptist students across Benin.
- M2E-Baptiste becomes a strategic support partner, offering logistical, technical, and formative assistance to strengthen CNEB’s mission.
Why This Matters
This transition empowers CNEB to:
- Focus entirely on its core mission: evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development among students.
- Operate with clarity, efficiency, and spiritual authority under the National Baptist Youth leadership of the UEBB.
- Build stronger institutional foundations for long-term impact.
A Unified Vision
Though structurally distinct, CNEB and M2E-Baptiste remain united in purpose. Together, they form a dynamic partnership to raise up a generation of young leaders, rooted in Christ, active in society, and faithful to the Gospel.
“This is not just an administrative shift—it’s a spiritual alignment for greater impact.”
